Comment Curious - if I have another worthy bootable iso, is it possible to add it to this multibootutils compilation (on the menu also)? If so, can you please explain how to do so?

Comment Here is what I have done. First I prepared the iso. Next opened it in Magiciso. Changed the Hiren's CD to version 7.5. Changed Firefox to version 1.7. Saved the ISO. Using Winrar 3.5 created an RAR SFX with normal conpression broken up into 49MB segments. This process took 40 minutes. Then I tested it for extraction. It took exactly 10 minutes and 15 seconds. The total sum of the 10 segments is 457,538 kb in place 651,652 kb that I downloaded. This penalty of 6 kb would not even be noticed compared to over 2 hours of thumbs twidling saved. One improvement I would really like to see is bubble help duration in autorun portion of the CD as well as a different menuing system which does not respond well to minimizing.

Comment Your new format sucks big time. After going through the preocess of downloading 10 segments from rapidshare, 1 every hour, I have fixed IP service, It took more than 2 hours & 30 minutes to extract the iso from it. I don't know the reason for changing the format but it was a bigtime real pain. I suggest you revert to the earlier format.

Comment Rapidshare's limiting the download to 50 MB per hour is a bit of a problem which i solved. I have a dynamically assigned IP DSL connection. After a segment is dowloaded I simply reboo the modem to get a fresh & different IP address. Can continue to download the next one immediately. Would lke to know if any one has found a solution using webproxy to download multiple segments simultaneously.

Comment Apart from the version number I feel a changes.txt indicating which software have been updated would help. Finding out that it is essenially only a fix of the opeing menu would be a major disappointment.

Comment With extra large downloads say 250-300 mb for each segment the host should support resume capability otherwise for a lot of people with dicey internet connection it would be a nightmare.
